Help! 48 Multiplexes added succesfully - but no Services to map. Grrr why?
Added by Th Kristensen almost 13 years ago
Okay might be a classic... and obviously it’s very simple to some folks. For me it's not. Can someone just spend a few minutes helping me getting some Services and Channels?
I have 48 Multiplexes added from location Denmark.
Hardware
Device path:
/dev/dvb/adapter0
Device name:
DiBcom 7000PC
Host connection:
USB (480 Mbit/s)
Frequency range:
45000 kHz - 860000 kHz, in steps of 62 kHz
Status
Currently tuned to:
674,000 kHz
Services:
0
Muxes:
48
Muxes awaiting initial scan:
0
Where do i go from here?
Developer: Why not just a “Autoscan” button like anyone else?
Thank you so much
Thomas

Did you click on the map dvb services to channels button?

Hi, The "Map dvb services to Channels" button is greyed out - Also the Services pane has no Services listed.

Hi Thomas,
The build-in multiplexes for Denmark are incorrect, so try to add your mutexes manually instead.
The parameters change a bit depending on your location, so check the frequency list on http://digi-tv.dk/Indhold_og_tilbud/frekvenser.asp (or Boxer, if you have access to the scrambled channels).
My MUX1 for instance is like this (if memory serves me):
Frequency (kHz): 730000
Bandwidth: 8 Mhz
Constellation: QAM-64
Transmission mode: 8k
Guard interval: 1/4
Hierarchy: None
FEC Hi: 2/3
FEC Lo: None
Good luck,
Mikael

Thank you so much Mikael for clearing this out.
(Developer: however I still think some kind of mux automation would be appropriate)

Frequency (kHz): 434000
Bandwidth: 8 Mhz
Constellation: QAM-64
Transmission mode: 8k
Guard interval: 1/4
Hierarchy: None
FEC Hi: 2/3
FEC Lo: None
Og
Frequency (kHz): 378000
Bandwidth: 8 Mhz
Constellation: QAM-64
Transmission mode: 8k
Guard interval: 1/4
Hierarchy: None
FEC Hi: 2/3
FEC Lo: None
Jeg har sakset værdierne fra Mikael Jepsens post og så tilføjet frekvensen som Glenten oplyser.
Men som sagt så duer det ikke. Er der nogen som kan hjælpe?
På forhånd tak.

Hi Kasper,
My settings are for the danish free-to-air DVB-T broadcasts, whereas your feed is a local DVB-C feed as far as I can tell.
Have you checket the Network ID /NIT) is set correctly - should be 1 / 00001 according to glenten.dk/vejledninger/DigitalTVindstilling.pdf?
If that does not help, try looking through some of the guides and posts for tvheadend with HDHomerun and/or DVB-C or take contact with your antenna provider to get more detailed settings for their feed.
Good luck
/Mikael

OK. Thanks Mikael.
After a restart of the htpc, the tvheadend-plugin suddenly worked. My settings were correct for Glentens Pakke1.
