tvheadend-4.2.6 completly broken

Added by Wolfgang Buesser over 6 years ago

Hello,

I am using tvheadend-4.2.5 on a centos 7.
I have tried to upgrade to tvheadend-4.2.6 several times - but ewvery-time my entire config seems to be broken
and I can't reconfigure the system:

All backends (like kodi) get access-denied.
I can't login to the web-frontend anymore.
If I restart tvheadend with -C I can connect to the web-frontend but I cannot connect my tvcards to any network.

So pretty-much everything is broken with tvheadend-4.2.6.

What is wrong with tvheadend-4.2.6 ?
Is there a migration guide somwhere?

Thanks

Wolfgang

P.S.: after downgrading to tvheadend-4.2.5 everything works fine without any need to touch my config.

CentOS and RedHat derivatives are very non multimedia friendly.
I use CentOS because Intel still learning how to write drivers,
and transcoding with GPU work good only on it, but Tvheadend is nightmare to work.

Under Ubuntu work perfect.
