You are in mistake.
device must work to be possible to be used by any software.

dmesg | egrep "frontend|firmware"

RE: compro U80 DVB-T driver for Tvheadend - Added by robert wild over 6 years ago

i have typed that in and get this -

[ 0.123983] raspberrypi-firmware soc:firmware: Attached to firmware from 2018-03-13 18:52

Until some frontend message appears you device will not work
also can be confirmed by command

ls /dev/dvb

https://linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/Realtek_RTL2831U

unplug and plug device and post result of dmesg or dmesg -T

cheap devices = big problems, including raspberry.

Saen is correct. there is no driver available (in the kernel), thus no frontend. Built/install a driver and it should work. I did a quick search and only found chat about adding support to the kernel, but nothing about an available driver.

You can't as there isn't one for Linux from what I can see. :(. If you're able I would return that device to where ever you bought it if the seller allows and purchase one that is supported on Linux.
