Write error Broken pipe with Android TV - Help!
Added by Allan Stevens over 6 years ago
Hi,
I have an odd and very frustrating issue with the Live Channel Android TV plugin. I hope someone can help, thanks in advanced for looking at my post
I install the application and complete the setup process on my Asus Nexus Player and everything goes well. I can channel change, watch tv etc. Then after a day or so it will stop working, tvheadend log error below. Reboots of server or android box does not help. If i uninstall the app on the nexus player and reinstall it will start to work again, until next time it breaks!! Everything still works fine in Kodi, so i suspect it's an issue with the android app. Any ideas? thanks.
Versions
HTS Tvheadend 4.2.3-20
LibreELEC Tvh-addon v8.2.112
LibreELEC amd64 build
Asus Nexus Player running Android 8.0

Hi Everybody,
I'm experiencing exactly same issue with newest Android TV on NVIDIA shield...
Every time I enable EPG, it takes about 1 day and TVH stops working with this error... As soon as EPG is disabled, it works again with no issue, but EPG is lost/blank...
Could you please help me/us with fixing the bug?
Thanks so much
Kind regards
j.
