OPTI Combo (Si2168): Switching DVB-C <-> DVB-T
Added by ide fixx about 8 years ago
Hi,
my main question: Is there a possibility to get tvheadend to support zapping between DVB-T and DVB-C channels within an Si2168 adapter?
Background:
I successfully installed an Edision Optimuss Combo stick on my system (RPi2, Raspbian kernel v4.4.21-v7+, tvheadend 4.0.8~jessie). It is shown as "adapter 0" with 2 demodulators (Si2168 DVB-C and Si2168 DVB-T). On my coax cable I have both signals DVB-C and DVB-T. Independently both work. DVB-C channels work, if Si2168 DVB-T is disabled. DVB-T channels work, if Si2168 DVB-C is disabled.
But if I enable both Si2168 DVB-C and Si2168 DVB-T, then the DVB-C muxes fail, only the DVB-T muxes are working.
Basically the stick supports switching between DVB-C and DVB-T mode at each channel switching (tested on a Windows PC with DVBviewer). Is there any possibility to get tvheadend to support switching between Si2168 DVB-T and Si2168 DVB-C channels?
Thanks. idefixx
