[SOLVED] Raspbian Jessie reinstall
Added by Luca Delponte about 8 years ago
Hello everyone,
I purchased a pi B+ some time ago and decided to go tv streaming in my apartment.
I first tried with a complete raspbian jessie the I installed and dist-upgraded. I tried to install tvheadend from the apt repository, but I ended up with it starting under both tvh and pi users and it didn't seem to "go online". I also noticed that with the X server memory was mostly all gone.
I just installed the light version of raspbian jessie, which I dist-upgraded. I didn't want to install tvheadend from the apt repository, given the issue I had. I also noted that the only working repository is the stable one, but it is dated december 2015.
I also saw people reporting issues on compilation. I also noted that there are no systemd services to install, but , I assume, only the systemV init.
So I am here asking you on how to get it working on my B+. Are there any dpkg tricks and/or manual configurations to go through?
Thank you all for your time.
