Playing streams from browser

I have noticed that I cannot play any of the streams from the EPG page's Watch TV button, or from the /tv.html page. Can anyone help?
I am running build 3.9.2303 on a raspberry pi.

It works for me right out of the box on the most recent download on a Raspberry pi 3 B.
But it s not stable, tvheadend runs with a 200% load on the pi, and and the picture stops and starts all the time.
