tvheadend, Ubuntu 13.10 & TBS5922

Added by andrew quayle over 10 years ago

Having a day's worth of problems with the above.

1. does not scan - drivers work; cable ok; box works - used kaffeine just to prove the point.
set up usb box; network - skyuk (28.2E), that's it nothing.
tried sky one transponder - nowt!

2. directory for channels.conf file please?
So I get entries in the drop-down dialogue 'pre-defined muxes'
[Configuration | DVB Inputs | Networks | Add]

I have the TBS 5922 (to 28E) in a spare machine running Debian Wheezy and have no problems, what version of tvheadend are you using?

Open the log window in the webui (the arrow in the bottom right) and enable debug (the cog wheel), add a mux and see what the output is, if you get something like 'invalid argument', you're missing some mux details.

Try adding the mux in this image..

If that doesn't work make sure that you've created a Network and assigned it to an enabled adapter.

Same problem I had, delete all your current muxes, enable mux discovery (network discovery) then add the above in the image, see how you get on.
