Set UP udp address for eth0 and Channels

Hello, maybe for us is stupid question but for me is big...

How to set up udp address for eth0 and tvheadend in iptv for channels?

System is ubuntu 12, 32bit...

There is nothing that is called udp address.. its a ip address. Tcp or udp is the most common protocoll.

Look into basic ip network. If using linux this is easy explaind if you do a google search.

Hmm, I add a channel name, interface is eth0, group is :: and port is 1234, but on LOCAL network I can't run via VLC???

Via http I can opet, but udp protocol didn't open

I have same problem too.
Untill now i can play channel
this is link udp::1234 [my channel from DVB Dream]
i play on VLC running good
so how to input on IPTV TVHeadend ?
Interface ?
Group ?
UDP Port is 1234 :D

My PC IP address 192.168.4.4
I am using HTS Tvheadend 3.4.27~gfbda802~wheezy
I try configure but no luck :D
Help please ....

I didn't get udp to work, but I use vlc for transcoding and http stream, becaouse have better caching from udp.
