"Jumping" muxes (Video) [SOLVED]

Added by NEI NEI almost 11 years ago

Hi

I'm new here. Hi everybody. I just installed Tvheadend and have some problems with finding the correct muxes and services. I tried with a Terratec H5 and HDHomerun. Always the same. The muxes are just jumping around (see video) and a loooooot of services are created that are from all Switzerland but almost none from the part I am living. I don't know if this is correct? Must it be like this? I found some channels that work, but it's almost impossible to find them! What am I doing wrong?
Interesting is also, that I had first the HDHomerun configured as ATSC device, it didn't find Muxes by itself. But when adding one the correct number of service were found. But without Name, Provider, Network and so on. So also no solution, but that's why I think I do something wrong now.

Thanks!

I just found out, that also the Services are changing the whole time. But not live in the webbrowser. So let's say I map a channel to "Channel X" and five minutes later it's not the same service behind the channel anymore. Thais can't be right.

Just posting to myself. Now I saw, that most (~98%) of the services have no PID when clicking on the little (i) icon on the right of the table. When I'm lucky and find a service that has a PID in this info dialog it also plays in VLC. Can I say Tvheadend to just store/show services, that have a PID and are working?

Thanks.

Oh man. Solved it. All I had to do is to add the network id of my provider... Now moving on! :-)
