Giving superuser access to /.hts ?
Added by Ian Mc almost 11 years ago
Hi, I've got TVheadend 3.5.247 mostly running on a PC with Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy. I followed the usual initial setup and set up a superuser name when prompted, and the completed the configuration.
Right now TVHeadend still belongs to HTS and I'd like any helpful advice on changing/adding permissions to the superuser before playing CHOWN commands.
IE: if I try to access "/home/hts/.hts/tvheadend" access is denied, but if I switch users (sudo su hts) I can get in. The main drive is that I would like to use the wakeup script shown on the wiki, and it requires access to "~hts/.hts/tvheadend/dvr/log". I'm assuming lack of access to the directory is what's blocking the script.
Thanks

Thanks, Miro, access is now possible. The wake up script still doesn't work so there are some clock issues to debug next.
