Tvheadend initial start
Added by Mark Hula over 11 years ago
Hi all,
Just chanegd my hardware and am having issues starting tvheadend (get hardware not detected).
Sometimes after boot my dev/dvb/adaptor0 doesn't exist.
When it does (rarely appear!!) I have to manually restart tvheadend with service tvheadend start/stop
is there a better way to achieve this??
Thanks!

OK!
Some success!
If after booting (and not finding my USB tuner). If I unplug the tuner, then plug it back in; my dub/adaptor does indeed exist!
Then I service tvheadend restart
When works!!!
HD channels though seem to 'suddenly' developed a problem:

Are there any issues/side effects from restarting tvheadend in this way????
