Season and Episodes Info not shown in Kodi recording

Hi,

Using Kodi 17.6 and latest 18 nightly 23.12.

EPG Shows the Season and Episode of the recorded show. iOS TVheadend APP shows Season and Episode Info of done recordings.

But the Recording with TVHeadend client Add-on in Kodi does not show the Info of Season and Episode. Very "annoying".

Is it possible to fix this ?

The Kodi PVR client does not support reporting the season/episode information for recorded programs. This is not a bug or problem with Tvheadend, but rather with the Kodi addon. I believe this has been fixed in the client builds for Kodi 18, but will not be implemented for earlier versions.

Also note, the Kodi addon is not developed by the Tvheadend team.

it is not fixed for Kodi 18 .. but sorry ... I will post it on Kodi forum client add-on ..

That's the link to the Kodi forum posting about the issue. I also referenced it in your post there. It also mentions a Tvheadend issue that reflects the issue for you to follow.

Another thought to consider: the iOS app uses the HTTP/JSON API to get information, and the Kodi addon uses HTSP. Two different ways of interacting with Tvheadend that may account for the discrepancy.
