Installed TVHeadend in Kodi but not visible.
Added by Ton VH over 8 years ago
I installed the add-on and enabled it but I can nowhere find it so that I can use it.
TVHeadend runs on a Nas and Kodi on a Mac. Both run fine on each itself.

TVHeadend is the back end, you now need to install a pvr add-on to access TVHeadend.

And which PVR/add-on would one use, and where to find it? Been searching add-ons and coming up with nothing.

The PVR client for TVH is called pvr.hts . Kodi only ships PVR clients for Mac, Windows and Android. Linux PVR clients must be either installed from your distro's repository or compiled from source.

Go into Settings/TV and set Enabled to "On" - the process in automatic from there.
The addon you install will be Tvheadend HTSP Client - no need to compile anything. Note that Kodi won't show you PVR addons until you enable TV, which is probably why you can't find anything.
