TVheadend client cannot load channel list
Added by Buck Rogers about 9 years ago
Kodi, tvheadend server runs fine (can connect to any channel from linux notebook via network):
Yesterday it worked well with KODI but today:
When I start PVR service in Kodi it wants to download channels but fails with DB error:
ERROR: CommitInsertQueries - failed to insert queries.... [SQL INSERT statement]
Error: PVR- Load - failed to load channel groups
repeated many times anf finally failing.
I de-installed tvheadend client and re-installed but that didn't clear the DB.
What to do ? Delete DB? If so, which db and where is it?
As much as I appreciate your effort and start feeling the power of tvheadend server, this (client under KODI) feels unstable and docs are outdated. :-(

The databases are usually kept in the home directory under .kodi on linux.
so /home/<user>/.kodi/
Might be easier to rename the folder and reload Kodi.
mv ~/.kodi ~/kodi.backup
This is a problem with Kodi and not Tvheadend (server) please report all bugs related to Kodi and the kodi-pvr-hts plugin here
