Timeshift back to beggining when rewind
Added by Xander Log about 10 years ago
Hi all,
I'm using TVHeadEnd as backend and XBMC as frontend in Kubuntu 14.04 and have a little problem that causes timeshift be less usefull in mi opinion.
The problem is that when I press rewind button, it always go to the start of the timeshift recording, instead of really rewinding. For Example, let's say I'm watching a football game and I want to rewind a few seconds to watch again a goal, if I press rewind, it goes automatically to the start of the game (the moment when timeshift started recording) instead of really rewinding. Then I can use fast forward and it works of, but imagine having to make fast forward to 1 or 2 hours or recorded signal....
Can anyone lend me a hand?
Many thanks in advance.

Timeshift never worked as it should in TVH. It has been implemented some time ago and never fixed. And it won't be fixed anytime soon I guess.
If you are looking for real pvr solution you need to look somewhere else.

Many thanks for your answer, Michael Donet,
It really works reasonably good but for this little detail, but I guess I can't ask for more, It's a great program, and free.
Could you reccomend me an alternative for Linux?
Regards
