Limit recordings on same mux per tuner
Added by john beton about 6 years ago
Hi all,
I'm running tvheadend again for the first time in years and I finally found the time to do some extensive testing.
I have a 2 DVBC tuners with each a CI module from my provider which can only descramble 3 channels at the same time. The 4th attempt results in a scrambled ts file because it uses the same tuner that is already in use.
How can I achieve that the 4th recording will make use of the second tuner with a CI module? All 4 channels are on the same mux.
Thanks,
jb

Thank you for pointing me to that topic. I have replied there too. We'll see what Perexg thinks about it

Right now, the only way for you is to create 2 networks and assign 1 network to 1 adapter.
On each network, enable and map the channels you want the tuner to use.

Creating 2 networks would work? Don't think so.
