HD02: No EMM keys are sent since update from TVH 4.2.x to 4.3 B 1251

Added by Marco Jakobs over 6 years ago

Hi,

just "by random", because all worked pretty well all the time, I've checked my HD02 card status in Oscam and I saw that there are only a few day time of the "Nagra activation" left! :-(
The card is payed until mid April 2019 and the tier is active, so it seems the card had an EMM issue.

The HD02 extension worked absolutely smooth and immediately mid of April, but I've updated TVH from 4.2.x stable to the 4.3. dev branch End of April due to ongoing TVH crashes with the last two stable builds. That was solved with 4.3.x, but in the logs I saw that from that point on the HD02 card did not receive a single EMM.

So something got broken with the 4.3 branch. The only visible change I saw was that the working protocol version OSCam net protocol rev >=9574 did change automatically to rev >=10389. The 10389 always had issues with EMM's and now the always proper working 9574 protocol just isn't there anymore and I can't select it anymore in the GUI. :-@

So, my questions are:

- How can I change back to the working 9574 protocol? Any config file I can modify? Why was it removed?
- Any workaround to get EMM writes working with the 10389 protocol version?

It's quite urgent as there is not much time left before many of my stations will fail due to the non updated card. I really don't want to set up a completely new TVH VM in the version 4.2.x just to run EMM updates every few weeks.

UPDATE:
Got help in the German TVH Facebook group. I needed to change the parameter

au=hd02

to

au=1

in oscam.user. First setting was perfect for the old protocol, the second fixed it for the 10389. Now I see EMM's being written to the card.
