Descrambling PowerVU without DVBAPI module
Added by tt wrs over 7 years ago
I have a quadcore android decoder with tvheadend installed, however it does not have any CAPMT DVBAPI module. In the CAS menu it has only 3 items. Newcamd, AES and DES. How do I decode the channels in PowerVU? I have OSCAM installed, running and finding keys every second, but the channel does not open. When I test BISS channels it opens perfectly. Is it possible to resolve this OSCAM> TVHeadEnd communication issue to open PowerVU channels?

Biss keys data is splitted into several pages, most recent page is in the first.
Biss keys have found for several tv channels which are available from different satellites such as Asiasat, Apstar, Thaicom, Eutelsat, Hotbird, Badr, Nilesat, Arabsat, Eurobird, Palapa sat, Paksat, Intelsat, Meast, Insat, SES and many other satellites.
All new and latest Biss keys are updated here https://www.swstarone.com/biss-keys/

It is not a just a "communication issue" between Tvheadend and Oscam. Tvheadend does not have DES (what is called DES Constant Code Word is actually CSA.) Also powervu is much more than just DES, there are other differences also. (In fact, powervu can use DES or CSA as the underlying encryption...) If you want powervu capability for Tvheadend, you will need to build it from my source (and you have to use the CAPMT (DVBAPI) connection to Oscam-emu.

If you cannot build from source. You also have the option of using Oscam-emu/Osemu's "stream relay" method as described here:
