IPTV (Canal Digital) and EMMs
Added by Anonymous about 8 years ago
Hi all,
I have been a user for a long time using TVheadend with TVheadend with Digital Devices DVB and OSCam. Worked great.
Now I have IPTV from Canal Digital and that also works great TVheadend-wise as long as I keep the subscription card updated in the original settop box.
My problem is that the subscription card does not update itself. Looking at the reader statistics in OSCam there are no logged EMMs.
This is my TVheadend CA settings
{ "mode": 5, "camdfilename": "192.168.0.4", "port": 9000, "class": "caclient_capmt", "index": 2, "enabled": true, "name": "iptv", "comment": "Local OSCam" }
This is my settings in OSCam.
[dvbapi] enabled = 1 boxtype = pc pmt_mode = 4 au = 1 listen_port = 9000 user = iptv read_sdt = 2 write_sdt_prov = 1
New EMMs are sent every month but I can log in to Canal Digital homepage and force update of the subscription card at will.
Is it possible to see incomming EMMs in TVheadend?
In Debugging I'm logging to a log file with "descrambler, caclient, csa, capmt, cwc, dvbcam" for both debug and trace. Is this the correct?

I know that this forum is not for OSCam support so my main question is how to verify that EMMs are actually received by TVheadend.
Thank you in advance.

You can view incoming EMM's with "--trace descrambler, cwc, capmt", altho it seem's like it doesn't work (tvh doesn't get them)
I got GET (norway) and you can scan a dedicated EMM udp stream which sends out EMM signals (the EMM address can be viewed in the STB), but as TVH doesn't forward these it's little help

It seems that TVHeadEnd does not forward EMMs to OScam (not with DBVAPI nor newcamd). When testing with TSDecrypt EMMs are being forwarded (at least globals). Will do more testing when Canal Digital changes codes.

Not wanting to raising any zombies here, but I had the same problem with CanalDigitaal, OScam and tvheadend. I wrote a script to automate the reactivation request and seems to be working nicely so far. https://www.sat4all.com/forums/topic/364271-updaten-kaart-bij-geblokkeerde-global-emms/
Just out of curiosity, how did you configure the CanalDigitaal settings via IPTV? I cannot find any information about IPTV and canal digitaal. No URL's no m3u's nothing.

No support for old software.
Switch to TVH 4.2 (current stable) or to 4.3 unstable
