I have setup TVheadend on a Ubuntu server usinf XBMC to watch live TV

I am looking to confirm the configuration, I have a N Line subscrtion to view encrypited channels
As I understood I needed to install Oscam to at as my N Line client unfortunaley I was never able to get this working as a last resort I but by N Line settings direct into Code Word Client screen on TVheadend this seems to work

I was hoping someone could confirm if this a vaild config and any issues this may cause

You can install OScam as server to read your N line and make user on OSCam to share to TVHeadend :D.

My setup does not work: CWC configured AND connected to the OSCAM server.
In Oscam Status ist shows descrambling the right channel.

In Tvheadend in "Subscriptions" it shows the right Channel "Running" but with NO output. The Input is also rather low ( low 100th )

Beside this it shows no Errors.

I also tried to change the "Prev. CA PID" form 0 to the shown PID in the Info Page...

When I try to change to a different Channel Tvheadend does not disconnect the descrambled Channel an I have to switch off the newcamd-Connection in CWC to allow Tvheadend to continue watching free channels.

Anyone Any Idea?

- using Ubuntu-Tvheadend unstabele 3.9.1050

Have you tried to use the Capmt tab instead of CWC?

Yes - Tried that. Oscam installed on the Tvheadend-computer and so on...
Same thing.

I bought a USB-Receiver in the meanwhile.
With this it worked right away with CWC.

Switching back to the PCI-Card it did not.
The PCI Card is a Full Featured Card. Previously it was used with direct output via the Card on my old VDR.
Maybe this is the reason. A general Problem with FF-PCI-Cards?
