Grabber not injecting events
Added by Cotie Jones over 13 years ago
Can't populate my epg b/c tvh failing to inject events: "xmltv: /usr/bin/tv_grab_file: Parsing completed. XML contained 62 channels, 27134 events, 0 new events injected in EPG." After searching, I cchecked and stop time attribute is present in the xml file (encoded in ISO-8859-1). Also, channel to XMLTV ID mapping has been done, there 62 channels mapped. The epg is empty, there is no apparent (old) data present. I have been having this problem since I upgraded my distro (Ubuntu 10.10 to 11.04). Any suggestions?

Hi Cotie,
I'm experiencing the same problem in Ubuntu 10.10. I'm using the tv_grab_na_dd grabber for schedulesdirect. I get the same error you're getting. My epgdb file is size zero.
Any solutions?

I believe I solved it. I had to map my channels to the XMLTV source.
