IPTV. Mapping XMLTV URL to M3U URL

Added by pixel24 pixel24 about 1 year ago

Hi@all,

first a "hello" to the round, I am new here :-)

Please excuse that I'm not really well versed in TVH yet. I'll try to deepen it.

I am in the process of setting up TVHeadend. I have no TV hardware and use IPTV (German channels) only. I have two URL's for this. One for the M3U file and one for XMLTV. The URL's contain the access data (user / pass). I add these URL's in an IP-TV client e.g. IPTVnator everything works. I see the channels with the correct name, the additional information and the program guide shows me everything correctly.

Now I try to insert this in TVH. First I created the network (Automatic IPTV), assigned a name, inserted the URL to M3U and activated "Create bonquet". I have read here in the forum that I need this for the mapping. After that, all stations appeared under "Muxes". Likewise under "Services".

Under "Bouquets" I have IPTV under "External URL" my URL inserted, "Auto-Map to channels" activated and "Enable" activated.

Under "Channels" I marked all and executed "Map all services". As a result I get "Mapped: 29". Although there are clearly more channels.

I also noticed that "Number: 0" is displayed for all channels under "Channels". I don't know if this is relevant.

However, nothing appears under the "Electronic Program Guide". What have I overlooked or done wrong?

Since yesterday noon, i.e. for several hours, I have been seeing such messages continuously in the log:

...
Sep 23 07:50:05 media01 tvheadend[3791]: mpegts: get.php - DE: SKY SPORT 10 HD (SPIELZEIT) in IPTV - tuning on IPTV #2
Sep 23 07:50:05 media01 tvheadend[3791]: subscription: FD7A: "scan" subscribing to mux "get.php - DE: SKY SPORT 10 HD (SPIELZEIT)", weight: 2, adapter: "IPTV #2", network: "IPTV", service: "Raw PID Subscription"
...

Is this normal and how long does it last?
