EPG mapping to incorrect channels.
Added by Sublime Rasta about 6 years ago
My EPGs are being mapped to the wrong channels. For example AMC is showing the programming for ESPN in the guide. I'm using Kodi 17.6 and Tvheadend 4.2.6-29. I'm using the IPTV Automatic Network and the External XMLTV grabber module. I setup a cron that concatenates the xml file to the xmltv socket.

Did you check the xml file and verify it has the correct information?
Has your iptv source changed?

I checked the M3U and the XML file to verify it is correct. I haven't changed IPTV providers.
Here is what the EPG looks like:
<programme channel="I401.18990.url.org" start="20180905190000 +0000" stop="20180905193000 +0000">
Here is what the M3U for that channel looks like:
#EXTINF:-1 tvg-name="TSN 2 HD" tvg-id="I401.18990.url.org" tvg-logo="/home/iptv_logos/tsn%202%20hd.png" group-title="Sports",TSN 2 HD
Is the issue with my channel not being strictly numerical?

I was able to fix this by simply re-running the unix-connect command after the muxes were mapped. Unfortunately this becomes an issue when using Bouquet to automatically map channels, as I have to manually re-enter the unix-connect command every time the M3U updates.
