Description
Discussed in the forums:

Some devices such as TVs support xmltv but have limited memory and do not process many of the fields such as description.
So add configuration to user to allow a limited subset of xmltv data to be sent.

Proposed fix causes issues, see #5753, I'd suggest to revert until its resolved (PR already submitted).

I think so, it is not a critical bug.

Go ahead then and fix it :)
I consider every regression critical, plus breaking the Webinterface access level is definitely no fun for everyone using it, I'm not sure how this was unnoticed during testing and I also have absolutely no idea how the changes that were done could possibly cause this.
In addition to that persistent web interface level seems to be broken aswell so people get more access than they should get.
