Bug #5513
Si21662 DVB-S frontends and the DVB-T signal
0%
Description
I haven't bug #5330 anymore but a strange behaviour found caused by one of the DVB-S frontend.
When the dvbs #2 (frontend1) is active on a channel/mux the signal of dvbt is disturbed. So signal immediately come back after this frontend is free.
Checked the F-connector and interchanged the 2 lnb sat input of the receiver card to be sure it is not due to a bad plugging but nothing change. Don't understand why it is different than the frontend0. Before further research I believed it was a problem about the outdoor antenna installation...

Please provide more details.
Which device you use? Why you are not using the latest version of tvheadend? What does it mean that "the signal is disturbed"? Explain in detail. Include trace logs from the time of the issue.
Without more context, it is not possible to offer you any reasonable advice.

Same with last version, "No signal" on the dvbt frontend2 directly when the frontend1 (not the frontend0) is tuning.
The signal of the rf out of the sf4008 tuner is also affected when testing with another dvbt device plugged on it, still because of the dvbs frontend1 activity.
It is just typical message of a signal cut

I wonder which image do you use if you don't meet this bug. In my side I am now on openatv 6.3

Tvheadend helped me to find the most responsible suspect of the mess. I can tell now same error without tvheadend in full openatv system usage...

Just added this 4 Way signal amplifier between my antenna and receiver. Signal no more altered!
