Description

I have upgraded to the latest git version 4.3-1507~ged33294f9-dirty, compiled from arch's aur package.

When I attempt to play a program via the "Electronic Program Guide tab", vlc correctly opens, but it asks me for username/password. If I give it the correct username/password the http stream correctly starts.

In previews versions - compiled from git months ago, clicking on play program vlc simply starts the stream without any need to authenticate.

It is worth to mention that, opening streams via the Configuration tab > Channels and clicking on the small play icon working just fine - no authentication required.

Authentication type is set to: Both plain and digest

Perhaps this bug is due to the newly introduced "Persistent authentication" but I am not sure what needs to be configured.

Regards,
Nikolay
