Description

The website tvheadend.org is build/hostet with/by Redmine and the favicon of Redmine is used on the website tvheadend.org.

It would be better and fine to use a/the specific favicon/logo from Tvheadend, as it is used in the local web interface.

While some may like this, I would not. I usually have multiple tabs open including two tvheadend servers and at least one from the tvheadend site. This would make it more difficult for me to find the tab I am looking for. But maybe a different, but similar icon??

Although, I guess I could change the icons for my tvheadend servers so I could tell them apart...

I also thought about this.
Nevertheless I think it's better to use a proper icon for a website and the icon of Redmine is IMHO not suitable, even if the website is made by Redmine. Or don't use a favicon.

It's clear, this is not a big issue but I like proper favicons. ;)

Although it should be no problem to change the favicon on your own web UI of your Tvheadend server. It should be /usr/share/tvheadend/src/webui/static/img/logo.png.
I think, I should make my own favicon too, suitable for my server name.
