Description

ffmpeg 4.0 released, includes AMF hardware encoding for Radeon GPUS.
we should add this to tvheadend (like vaapi for intel)

For a cheap hevc encoding and streaming server (Ryzen 3 2200G) or the upcomming ryzen embed boards like udoo bolt, running tvheadend on top, this would be a nice feature.

Any one can assist to have this in TVH?

FFmpeg 4.3 "4:3", a new major release, is now available! Some of the highlights:

* Support AMD AMF encoder on Linux (via Vulkan)
