Description

I am using build 4.2.5-18~g951777a51 for Raspberry Stretch.
I also have to use IP binding for my tuner.
Every time the tvheadend service is stopped the related IPs in the tuner settings arelost.

Also I noted that this build is lossing track of recorded TV shows.
Right now it shows 0 recorded shows allthough the related folder contains 10 recordings.

Problems with folder access rights and ownership have been the cause of the problem.
The actual cause was the convoluted installation description for the raspberry pi.

Can you provide feedback on how to improve this? Examples etc?

Dear Mark,

Before replying thanks for your great work keeping the repository alive!

The description says
"To use this repository follow the official usage guide, but change the repository URL from https://dl.bintray.com/tvheadend/deb to https://dl.bintray.com/mpmc/deb and replace DISTRO with raspbianstretch or raspbianjessie."

Why so complicated?
Why does the user has to do the constructions of commands? e.g. User needs to know that probably the commands for Debian are the right one.
Why not just list the commands required and enable a simple cut and paste approach for the user?

Replacing a URL and a two strings is complicated?

The Bintray repo is for both Debian & Ubuntu.

It is a simple cut and paste, the only difference is the deb line :). Writing out instructions twice makes no sense, hence why I said follow the official usage guide and replace a few strings.

But I take you points on board, thus I've amended the instructions slightly and added a c&p example. I'll look into improving it a bit more when I get the chance.

Many thanks for the feedback, I'm more than happy to receive more.

Thanks for inserting this command line.
I think this is a big improvement.

I am still wondering how I stupidly managed to install tvheadend on my Pi without adding your repro.
But this is a different story.
