Description
Hi,
I have been trying to use oscam with tvheadend.
oscam is running fine for cable/virmin.
now i want to i want to use newcamd (from oscam) into tvheadend.
so i created a user in oscam and put it into tvheadend (configuration > CA's> ....). Oscam shows the user is connected. so oscam part is done.
now i want to see the channels using kodi/vlc in my laptop.
but i couldn't figure it out how to do that.
I didnt find any channel names anywhere in tvheadend.
I spent lots of time in google and in this forum but did not find any solution.
can anyone help me out please.
thanks in advance.

Do you create network muxes and scan for services and map services you want to use?
Use forum.

Hi Jarouslav,
Thank you for the reply and suggestions.
I tried the forum but didn't find the specific solution.
i created iptv network and input a url of an m3u file (free channels that i got from the internet), then i did the mux/channels/mapping/... etc and there i got the channels.
But when i tried to use the newcamd (from oscam cable/virmin : user/pass/port/host/desc) - oscam shows tvheadend is connected but i couldn't find any channels here.
'saen acro' in the previous reply asked me to create network/mux, but the thing is network/mux etc are under DVB inputs, and here i am not using dvb inputs rather i am using configuration > CA's where there is no options to use network/muxes.
and even if i try creating iptv network under DVB inputs, it asks me for url (not the newcamd details) - I am very confused.
I will very grateful if you could give me some kind of clue on how to do that.
Regards.

Again, ask in forum. You are a little bit confused. The inputs does not depend on descrambling configuration. If you have some free IPTV channels, you don't need to setup descrambling at all.
