Feature #4736
CICAM: MMI support in the WebUI and via HTSP
0%
Description
Several (if not all) hardware CAM modules also have a MMI CAM menu which allows to configure ie. CAM options and display some information (and be it only hard/software versions etc.). It'd be great if these menu could be made accessible either using TVHeadend's WebUI, and/or also via the HTSP protocol so it can be accessed by connected clients like Kodi (client specific settings or so).
Also, CAMs send some (textual) status information using MMI, like informal message when channels aren't subscribed or otherwise inaccessible. Getting that information to clients (again via HTSP) so they can display such messages would also be great.

Not exactly. That issue reads like some TBS card and CI interface support, but (even if there are mentions of menus and gnutv -cammenu) not specifically about that MMI resource stuff, which is accessible with every DVB adapter supported by mainline or thirdparty driver package that exposes a adapterX/caY device node below /dev/dvb/.

So, as #4738 is now closed... I suggest to tag this for 4.4 or 4.6.
