Bug #4727
astrometa dvb-t2 lock up
0%
Description
Device: Astrometa DVB-T/T2/C USB Tuner (Panasonic mn8847*3*)
OS: Ubuntu Server 16.04 with mainline kernel 4.13
TVH version: 4.2.4-19~gdbbaa51
The Problem seems to be that the device is somehow locking up, I am not sure if it helps (tzap cannot parse "TRANSMISSION_MODE_16K")
sudo tzap -r 'Das Erste HD(ARD)'
using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0'
reading channels from file '/home/tvh/.tzap/channels.conf'
ERROR: error while parsing transmission_mode (syntax error)
More details (excerpts:dmesg,syslog,tvh.log (trace:linuxdvb)) are given in this thread I created earlier: https://tvheadend.org/boards/5/topics/29708?r=29715
I also attached the tvh.log.

I think I was a little too impatient before creating this issue. I am sorry but it works now for me.
"Actually it works now. All my muxes in tvh had a PLP ID of -1 as standard setting. I changed it to "0" and it started working.. Feeling a bit dumb now but the overlay on PLP ID said: "Most people will not have to change this setting.", so I erroneously assumed I was not most people... Thanks for your input though, I actually learned quite a bit while fiddeling around with it :)"

Don't worry about it. I'll close this and add a note to the docs.
