Bug #4666
TVHeadend crash during recording
0%
Description
TVHeadend version: 4.2.3-10
2 DVB-C USB Tuners: Cinergy HTC Stick - TerraTec Electronic GmbH
NAS: Synology DS216j, newest Softwareversion
I have installed TVHeadend in combination with the Synology Video Station on my Synology DS216j. But TVHeadend crashes a few times during idle or during recording one or two programms. I can't reproduce the crashes in the idle status, but during recording a programm I have a logfile. TVHeadend crashes and the process is killed. I have to start TVHeadend again in the Synology webinterface.
I think the crashes started after updating TVHeadend to version 4.2.3-10, but I am not sure.

//edit: I add a new logfile with more information. This time it was a crash without recording anything. Just in status idle

4.2.3-10 is too old, try latest 4.2.3-113 .
This is a problem inspired by when there is no detailed Changelog

Is there a package for Synology NAS which is supported by Redmine? I have the package supported by SynoCommunity and their newest TVHeadend version is 4.2.3-10

No, the SynoCommunity packages correspond to the actual TVH releases. The latest Synology package corresponds to the latest stable version 4.2.3, which has been released on July 1st. The "-10" is not referring to TVH build numbers but is a counter for Synology packages. Next update would come with the 4.2.4 release...
