Description

I know it has been asked many times for on-the-fly transcoding when playing back recordings, but as an added/alternative feature (especially for under-powered machines which can not do real time transcoding) it would be nice to be able to do a post-processor transcode of a recording which is added to the dvr loq as a lower-quality alternative for playback. Easiest would be to create a new dvr log entry duplicating the original and adding something like "LQ" to the title and point to the transcoded file. But better would be to include it to the original dvr log entry and have a option/flag to select the HQ or LQ file. Then an option for clients to ask for the LQ file if available. Keeping in mind possibly adding a third medium quality option...

Also, for machines that can handle it, have the ability to live record the original ts stream AND a transcoded version at the same time.
