Description

TVH 4.2 on RPi3/LE finds the Xoro HRS 8670 satip server but scanning muxes fails often and mapped channels can't be viewed on Kodi -> "Tuning failed" tho sometimes I had a picture for one second.

The satip server works, tested with DVB Viewer on win7 and tivizen on ipad.

Yep, it's really old version of tvh - your issue might be already fixed.

Is there anything else I can do? Or should I return the Receiver? :)

It appears that the server closes the RTSP TCP communication without any reason. The session timeout should be 60 seconds (server replied this value - check logs - timeout=60). TVH thinks that the SAT>IP session is invalid in this case.

Do you have any firewall or something which may break the TCP session on the way?

There's nothing in between which can break the TCP session. The problem smells like https://tvheadend.org/issues/3223
