Do this through oscam.

i can do unlimited connections from one user
but tvh do not create new connection for any service
aka
tvh to use profile and create separate newcam session per service witch need decoding

(badly that cccam will not be implemented)

I understand your request, but I don't plan to implement this. Use oscam to handle more complex CA handling - there's 'Ratelimit ECM' option in the oscam reader settings. So connect tvh to oscam and configure oscam to use multiple readers with the defined ECM rate.

I agree with this post: [[https://tvheadend.org/boards/13/topics/13301?r=17509#message-17509]]

Instead of enhancing CWC, it should be removed completely from Tvheadend. It is much better to let Oscam do all the work. Why try to implement something in Tvheadend when there is already a very good tool available???

I don't plan to remove the newcamd protocol support either (cwc). For the simple configurations, it might make sense. And, it was the first supported card client in tvh. But those complex settings should be handled through oscam.

If you plan to use DVBAPI to descramble,
first try with more then 4 tuners at same time with more then 4 channels on tuner.
CacheEx with cccam and newcamd way better and more stable.

p.s.
oscam is not universal panacea without lot of non-public patches,
that is a reason for "per service connection" on separates line.
Also this is a reason lot of people to ask about cccam support.

Yes, I use DVBAPI and it works fine for my few tuners. I guess my household is much, much smaller than yours because I certainly don't need 16+ concurrent channels being decrypted. :)

I find it quite funny that you would complain about non-public oscam patches, then want support for cccam. ;) And there is a reason why the source code for oscam patches and cccam are non-public - they both are explicitly for doing unquestionably illegal things.

Also, we all know that the vast majority of times people are looking for support for cccam because they have purchased a c-line.

@ Joe User
Some of us manage iptv for hotels not only house solution.
Can you imagine, 250 STB's in one room, each connected to hdmi encoder,
not to use N, C, G or other line, because card can decode only one channel at same time?
Or to take simple card readers and use cache exchange?
Do not answer.

@ Jaroslav Kysela
am not using OSCAM for all services but will put it in between.
