Bug #4000
IPTV: ChannelName mapping from "MUX service" name instead of services servicename
0%
Description
I've setup a Tvheadend instance with an iptv (multicast) only setup.
I imported the channels with an m3u playlist and there is an MUX created per Multicast IP.
Tvheadend also created all services well with the correct name who come not from the mus settings (the m3u has no names!), the names must be known from the channel data itself. I've got 3 diffent types of Multicast MUX:
1. One SD/HD channel ts per IP
2. 4-5 SD channel in a MUX per IP
3. 5-10 Radio channel in a MUX per IP
The names are well in Services but when I map the services to channel i lost the channel names because the canne names are always com from the manual service name in MUX settings.
can thas be changed that the name will com from the services section??
I don't know if this is a bug or a feature..

The service name in mux has precedence over the service name extracted from the MPEG-TS stream. The service name in mux is extracted from m3u - line #EXTINF: everything after comma character.. If your m3u file does not contain these names, the service name from the MPEG-TS stream should be used.
