Description

Encryption provider is only shown correctly if "free to air". In case the channel is encrypted (e.g. Cryptoworks) it only passes the information "Unknown (FFFF)".
Tvheadend server 4.0.9 passes the information correctly.

This is an issue of pvr.hts and kodi and not tvheadends fault.

  • Status changed from New to Rejected

The old API is bad - it uses this info when the stream is subscribed. So if you see FFFF then the stream is scrambled. The descrambling can be changed at runtime, but as the previous comment notes - the new HTSP extension is not supported in pvr.hts. The older version of tvheadend sent first detected CAID for a service, but then we had bug reports - why the used CAID is not showed ? It newer worked correctly for streams with multiple CAIDs.

Just select "Anonymize HTSP access:" in user profile,
this will solve problem ;)
but will show same FFFF as codding ident.
