Description

Hello,

at the moment i am using libreelec with HTS Tvheadend 4.1.1943 ~ LibreELEC Tvh-addon v7.0.101

My Picons settings are this:

Prefer picons over channel name: YES

Channel icon path: blank

Channel icon name scheme: Service Name Picons

Picon path: file:///storage/videos/Picons3

Picon name scheme: Force Service Type to 1
_____________________________________________

My Picons wont be showing with this settings.

On "Channel/EPG" when i look for "user Icon" ARD HD it shows me:
picon://1_0_1_2B5C_41B_A401_FFFF0000_0_0_0.png

When i now watching in my picons folder in windows an search for 1_0_1_2B5C_41B_A401_FFFF0000_0_0_0.png it shows
me the ARD HD Logo. But it dont shows me in kodi.

On other channels it shows me Channel "ZDF" and Logos shows me "NTV".

Very strange!!!!!

Can someone help me?

On other versions before all was working.

I am on unitymedia/KabelBW

Would first check whether this is a backend or a frontend problem. This is what I would do (there are certainly other ways):

BACKEND:
1) Log into the web user interface
2) Go to the "Electronic Program Guide" tab and click on a couple of "i"s (for details) on the left. The broadcast channel detail pop-up windows contain channel logos. Check those for a couple of channels. If they are correct, you have a frontend problem -> Skip the following BACKEND steps...
3) Go to "Configuration" -> "Channel/EPG" -> "Channels" and make sure that all channels are shown on one page (choose: "All" in the "Per page: " box on the bottom left. That should do. Then mark all (Ctrl-A), click first "Reset Icon" and then "Save" on the top bar. This should repopulate the "User icon" column.
4) You might still have outdated icons in your imagecache. Therefore, go to "Configuration" -> "General" -> "Image Cache", first click "Clean image (icon) cache" then "Re-fetch images" on the top bar. Note: Even if Image Cache actually has not been enabled, please clean it nevertheless. Migth contain ghost entries and won't harm cleaning it.
5) Go back to (1). If you still don't see the right icons, there is either a problem with the picons or the picon configuration (but your configuration above seems fine)

FRONTEND:
(1) Most issues occur because you are looking at cached icons instead of the ones from the backend.
(2) In Kodi go to "Settings" -> "TV", go right and select "Delete data" (or "Clean data" or something like this) and confirm that you want to clean everything. Then system should reimport all information from the backend, including the picons you have just (re)-assigned.

Hope this is helpful. Good luck!

Log into the backend user interface.

EDIT: The "Per page: " box is on the bottom RIGHT, not bottom LEFT. Sorry...

Hey Martin,

this step:
2) Go to the "Electronic Program Guide" tab and click on a couple of "i"s (for details) on the left. The broadcast channel detail pop-up windows contain channel logos. Check those for a couple of channels. If they are correct, you have a frontend problem -> Skip the following BACKEND steps...

I do this and all channels are without logo.

I reset logos too but without sucess.
I think its not an frontend problem.

The Picons in my folder are correct also the frequenz in tvheadend. So usually it must be shown but it wont.

Is there a check on option "image cache"?
My personal choice is to install micro web server
/apache is too complicated and big/
Abyss Web Server X1 is perfect http://aprelium.com
This allow to be seen remotely not only by localhost

"Image Cache" is not enabled.

On openlec 5.0.8 with TVH 4.1-309 i didnt have problems with picons.
All was working.

Dont know why it dont work. Picons and scanned channels are identical.

Hmmh, issue with file permissions? You could check your picon.pngs and underlying folder in that regard. But those issues should be visible in your tvheadend.log as well. Anything in there?

If it's not the file permissions, here another idea:

Configuration -> General -> Base: Change "Pion Name Scheme" to "Standard" and save (top bar).
Afterwards: BACKEND Steps 3-5 from above, to be sure.
