Bug #3635
TVH Server writes files to subdirectories but neither Server or PVR can list recordings
0%
Description
I noticed this problem this evening. It was the first time I had tried to use recording to subdirectories.
Files are successfully written to their subdirectories on disk, but neither the TVH Server (in Finished Recordings) or the TVH PVR can find the subdirectories or files.
Server 4.08 running on RaspPi
On Windows I am on TVH PVR 2.2.13 - problem is also on latest android and RaspPi PVRs too, so I guess its the server that has the bug?

Have you checked the directory permissions / ownership ?

Yes, as far as I can see all permissions are correct - the files are being written to the destination successfully, but TVH Server cant see the directories OR files.
Also, TVH Server ignores my request to include Episodes in the filename, even though I believe they are there (NCIS)
It seems I am not the only one with this problem...see..

Has anybody else got subdirectories working successfully on 4.08?

I'm experiencing the same issue. However it only appears to be affecting shows recorded via Autorecord. Shows explicitly set to record via a single episode are fine. Logs indicate that the show records successfully however no entries show up on the completed recordings for the show or failed recordings. The dvr log files under the .hts/tvheadend/dvr/logs are also successfully created and indicate no issues.
I'm running 4.0.9-4 on Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS, on a Pentium D host with 2 GB RAM.
