Bug #3452
SatIP: Tuner 2 is stopping tuner 1...... No simultaneously streams.
0%
Description
Hi,
I´m using a digibit R1 satip box.
Everything works, that means i was able to setup this digibit box.
My problem:
I trying to use more than one stream simultaneously the first stream freeze.
Yes it is freezing not terminated.
An example: i watch "ARD HD" on my first tuner. Everything is fine.
Than i start a second stream with "ZDF HD".
Tuner 2 starts playing and tuner 1 goes to zero bandwith but stays active. The picture in vlc just freeze. But tuner 2 plays correct.
When i stop tuner 2 suddenly tuner 1 goes back to play normal.
I dont know how i can make it to play all 4 tuner simultaneously.
Facts:
Every tuner is working with a single stream.
Using a direct stream from the digitbit let it play streams on all 4 tuners simultaneously. Just tvh play only one stream at the same time.
TVheadend runs at version: HTS Tvheadend 4.0-git893722aae8 on a Synology DS414
My digibit R1 box is on firmware: V1.17.0.120
Looking into the log shows a lot of CC errors when i start ZDF......

Have you tried to turn off (for 5 minutes) the R1 box ? The Inverto firmware has really strange behaviour in some situations.
Also, the box should be connected using gigabit ethernet (both sides and switch) - 100M is not enough.

I just tried this.
Turn Off the R1 box for 30 minutes.
Same behavior than before.
I also tried with different firmwares on the R1 box V1.16.0.120, V1.17.0.120 and the custom firmware V1.0.0.146.
When i bypass the tvh and connect directly to the box, i can view 4 streams simultaneously without problems.
Only using tvh bring up that problem.
I also included a screenshoot from the status page and tuner config. Maybe it helps.
In the status pic you see the parked tuner stays tuned and activ.
Is it corret to enter the same UDP RTP Port 8080 for all 4 tuners?

Btw: I´m complety on a 1Gbits network.

- Status changed from New to Invalid
The UDP RTP port must be different (keep it as zero or use different numbers, also TWO ports are used - 8080 and 8081 in your case - for firewall config). So, it's not an issue, but a wrong config - I've not seen this yet and the wrong UDP port setup explains that.

And - btw - use my satip-axe firmware and embedded RTSP data (data over TCP) to avoid continuity errors.

Ok solved by setting port to 0
Running satip-axe firmware improved my quality level up to ~70-80% (was ~30-40%) before.
What do you mean with RTSP data? On the digibit R1 or the tvh server?

Turn on "RTSP/TCP (embedded data)" in TVH - the input device tree (top level device entry). It works only with satip-axe firmware (minisatip).
(You need latest development TVH 4.1 for this).
