Description

More or less is like current SAT>IP Server support, in which TVHE "emulates" a SAT>IP tuner. The idea is "emulate" one HDHomeRun device.

One opensource implementation of HDHR emulator:
http://github.com/vdomin/HDHRProxyIPTV

Not so difficult to implement the HDHR protocol: binary discovery/control based on open libhdhomerun; plus UDP/RTP for transport.

You can get it working with plexdvr using this

+3, I like to use Windows BDA HDHR drivers with TVH as server... I check the pointed "emulator" and it works, but sometimes fails. I hope in the future TVH support SAT>IP and HDHR in the server side!

It would be good to integrate this into TVH, rather that rely on third-party flask apps, because it is likely that a lot of users will want to link to Plex in this way. It doesn't make sense to have them use code that may break and have to catch up every time something related in TVH changes.

If linking to the Plex DVR becomes a popular reason for using TVH, core support for that usage is warranted.

Now Plex supports Live TV this feature would certainly be a big bonus to the significant Plex user- base. Is there any genuine interest from developers??

Thanks!
