Description

I like that the current versions output a m3u playlist, which I can use in VLC instead of launching a non-functioning VLC player in my browser, but VLC for example doesn't remember passwords so it'd be useful if this is embedded in the playlist.

You can always set up a limited catch all account (*) with limited access then you won't see the login prompt.

Uff. The request sounds like A HUGE SECURITY FLAW. For channels, a time-limited ticket should be created to avoid the extra authorization (so the 'Play' link in the channel's grid should be fine), but it's not implemented for service URLs. Do you speak about these 'Play' links ?

I found it - it's really a bug. The /play redirects didn't generate the tickets. Fixed in v4.1-488-g70c088d .
