Description

Hi,
I am getting many errors after updating to 4.0.4 version. I am using Kodi, TVHClient (Android) and Emby to watch tvheadend LiveTV. In every case it´s laggy, sometimes stops, causing freezing clients. I read many advices, I disabled Idle Scan, no change. I don´t think it might be HW problem, previous version worked fine.

OK, could you try to increase input buffer size (hardware tree configuration - tuners) ? Also increasing of status period might help.

I just increased Input Buffer (Bytes) to 75200 and Status Period (ms) to 10000. But no change.

OK. The "Transport error indicator" errors means that the input stream is not received correctly (malformed data are received from the driver). You may also try to change the mux parameters manually. Some drivers don't like the forced settings - thus try auto - and versa vice. I'm sorry, but tvh cannot do much in this case.

Thank you for your help in every case. Just one last question: Where can I change mux parameters? Sorry, a bit different and confusing me compared with previous version.

Configuration -> DVB Inputs -> Muxes

Select a mux and click on Edit button (in top area).
