Description

I'm having multiple errors that causes freezes and hiccups all the time

I'm currently using 4 DVBSKY S960/USB tuning DVB/S channels only with linux.tv drivers on a 8Gb/Xeon Dell Poweredge R300 machine, SNR is over 74 and signal strength ~55

Please let me know if I should provide any other information.

Could you try to increase input buffer sizes in the hardware tree config ?

OK. If you decrease the maximum PIDs to 16 ? Also the problems are also on FTA channels ?

Hi, thanks for the reply. I've set max PID to 8 and the errors are still there in syslog file, although it seems to occur less glitches now (not 100% free though)

BTW there're no FTA channels on this satellite, so I can't answer that, but I'll pay attention to "access denied" log messages when the video stops...

Jaroslav, your hints solved my problems 100%, although I get the continuity errors (guess I can live with them if there's no problem with the video right?)

Now I only get NOK hiccups and will deal with them elsewhere :)

Thank you very much.
