Description

I have a SRG VIACCESS card which can decode SRG on Hotbird via provider id 040810 and 3+ on Astra 1 with provider id 040820. EMMs work fine on 040810, but fail on 040820. I have attached logs from tvh and oscam which hopefully include all necessary data. I can update my card with a dreambox, and as I can update 040810 through tvh I'm quite sure my settings on each side are correct.

EMM pid 0x1029

BTW, logging seems to display EMM instead of ECM: 2015-05-06 15:47:05.432 [ TRACE]:descrambler: EMM message (len 42, pid 8160)
as pid 8160 is the ECM pid

TVH just passed the requested EMM data to oscam.. I don't see any error in the logic. It might be that this card is not fully supported in oscam.

Or another dvbapi error - could you for a test use newcamd (cwc) connection for EMM ?

I tried newcamd as well, same story, so I basically can rule out dvbapi in this case. As I said, I can update my card with my dreamboxes, the card is well supported in OSCAM for years and the strange thing is it updates the other provider on this card.
If no obvios things appears in the log then I will reconnect a Dream and log to have something to compare.

it might be the same problem as reported here: https://tvheadend.org/issues/2728#note-13
actually oscam is opening a bunch of pid filters on the same pid....

It does not explain why newcamd does not work. EDIT: Or both clients are buggy ;-)

right, first impression is that nothing changed, so I suppose I need to do some more logging and comparing
