Tvheadend

Hi ya,

is there any chance for an addon API, like VDR has? I think there would be a lot of things that could be done with it (for stuff that the developers have stated it does not belong directly into tvheadend)...? Some things i could see that would be possible:

- more advanced (maybe realtime) ad-detection
- DLNA
- processing/indexing for CC/Subtitles (dump all subtitles into elasic search would be cool :-D)
- hardcore subtitles into video (for devices that can't display them, like really dumb smart-tv's)
- remove/blur logos (or add new one ;)

Not sure about the licensing (IANAL), but could the plugin-code be adapter from VDR, so their addons would work..?
