Description

If I connect with XBMC by Samba share from a Asrock 1,6 GHz atom with ION hardware there is no problem to view HD-recordered tv. But if I connect by HTSP Live stream there is a big lag. But it works if I do a "time shift" with playing recordering the same time as tvheadend is recordering.
Is it possible to create a small buffer to prevent this?

This doesn't seem like a tvheadend issue (more of a xbmc one).. And what do you mean by lag. Sounds more like your network being abit shaky.

I guess this bug occurs, because xbmc does no hardware acceleration (aka VDPAU)
when streaming from tvheadend. It does hardware acceleration, if it is playing
a recording made with tvheadend.

I have the same issue (also with ION hardware).

This seems to be a known issue and might be even fixed in the subversion repository: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?t=69022
