Description

With the recent changes to access control many previously impossible scenarios for using tvheadend in a multi-user environment has become possible. One (perhaps last) thing that is missing is the ability to optionally force a user to use a specific CA client (or even none). This way you could restrict people from decrypting certain channels, or it could be used for better accounting purposes if you have a CAM that does any kind of statistics per user.

It seems like a corner case. It would be better to create channel tags for specific user groups..

You're probably right, might as well close this.

But I think that it might be a good idea to create "automatic" tags for specific CAIDs for an easy maintenance. Perhaps we can change this bug to this feature request ?

Thinking about it more, it may apply to networks as well (connect channel tag to the network).
